This is to inform all prospective candidates that the process of registering candidates for the Akwa poly 2021/2022 Admission Screening exercise has commenced. in the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua.
The Akwa poly 2021/2022 Admission is for candidates interested in either the National Diploma or Higher National Diploma (ND) full-time programme.
Eligibility criteria for the Akwa Ibom State polytechnic ND programme
To qualify for the Screening Exercise, candidates must have chosen Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua as their first or second choice.
Candidates must have written the 2021 UTME must have scored at least 100 in the 2021 UTME.

Akwa poly 2021/2022 Admission application procedure for the ND programme
please follow the steps below
1. Prospective candidates should visit the school website: https//akwaibompoly.edu.ng
2. Click on the online application
3. Generate an invoice [RRR] number with the following details:
-JAMB Registration Number
-Phone Number
-Name
4. Prospective Candidates should visit any Commercial banking in Nigeria to purchase an application pin of 2000 Naira only for the Screening Fee.
5. Using the pin obtained, visit the Akwa Ibom Polytechnic School Web site to complete the application via the following steps:
Click on Admission and select Application Forms.
Select your course/programme.
Insert the obtained pin to complete the application and submit it.
6. Candidates shown remember to download and print the acknowledgement slip as evidence of registration.
7. Candidates should upload their WAEC results on the JAMB portal and the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic' portal respectively.

1. Photocopy of their JAMB slip showing their photograph

4. Valid Scratch pin for Verification of WAEC and or NECO result(s)
Akwa poly 2021/2022 Admission into HND programme
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for 2021/2022 Admission into two years Higher National Diploma Programmes.
Entry requirements for the Akwa Ibom poly HND programme
Prospective candidates who wish to apply for the Akwa poly 2021/2022 Admission Screening exercise into the Higher National Diploma Programmes must meet the following requirements to be eligible.
1. Candidate should have at least a lower credit pass at the National Diploma level obtained from an NBTE-Accredited programme in the candidate's course of choice.
2. Candidates with a Pass level in National Diploma obtained from an NBTE-Accredited programme in their course of choice may also apply if they have evidence of at least two years post-ND industrial work experience.

3. Generate an invoice [RRR] number with the following details:

4. Prospective Candidates should visit any Commercial banking in Nigeria to purchase an application pin of 8,000 Naira only for the Akwa poly 2021/2022 Admission Screening Fee.
5. Using the pin obtained, visit the Akwa Ibom Polytechnic School Web site to complete the application via the following steps:
-◘ Click on Admission and select Application Forms.
-◘ Select your course/programme.
-◘ Insert the obtained pin to complete the application and submit it.
6. Candidates should remember to download and print the acknowledgement slip as evidence of registration.
7. Candidate should also upload the following documents to the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic's portal:
-◘ One-year industrial attachment letter.
-◘ Official ND Transcript / Statement.
-◘ Photocopy of the registration receipt.
Please There shall be no physical Aptitude Testing. The mode of the Aptitude Test shall be based on a dedicated calibrated format.
